#2. What is my story?

The big fulfilling question to one soul is What is my story?

What is my destiny, what am I got to do to be someone, and why I have to succeed.

Q1. What is your biggest story so far?

Q2. How would the end chapter be like?

Q3. What do you have to do to get it?

Success is our goal right? Yes. But do you have the right success (see previous blog).

One key thing God has given us is the ability to freely do whatever we want as a person. We are not a robot or programmed computers. If one thing that could decides a person story, it would be Vision. (Of course actions need to follow from that vision).

If the vision is both good and correct, most likely he or she will be a good person. If the vision is good but not correct there is potentially a time when that person is diverted into doing something wrong and can be bad at the end. While people who are in between i.e. Do not have a vision so it will depend on other people or situation in making his life story. Let us choose to be the first group of people. Sometimes we are lazy to think that God will give a big poster on our Vision. It also needs to come from us. God values our decision and will make it perfect. How will I find this Vision?

By continuously seeking God (i.e. don’t focus on the vision alone). It is an exiting discovery process and needs one key ingredient. Trust.

Sometimes I was playing smart figuring out the vision in itself, and it frustated me because I left clueless and discouraged as it seems far beyond my reach.

Matthew 6:22-23

Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Even the richest person ever lived on earth (guess who). Not Bill Gates, but Jesus (as He owns heaven and earth) provide us great examples how to continually seek God, trust and obey. Despite technically (or theologically) the richest person, we can see the successful story of His life i.e. How he was born, life and die to give us clear example that God’s version of success is different with the temporary success on the earth.

So do you have now the good and correct vision? It will determine your story.
